Natal Calascio

The third edition of Natal Calascio brought the village of Calascio to life from December 6 to 8, 2025, with Christmas markets featuring wooden stalls, local handicrafts, traditional flavors, and creative workshops, open from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

The festival continued from December 27, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with screenings, workshops, tastings, games and family activities, walks and e-bike excursions, as well as music and mulled wine along the illuminated alleys. Among the most anticipated events was the inauguration of the exhibition on the costumes from the film Ladyhawke — marking the 40th anniversary of Richard Donner's film shot at Rocca Calascio — and the art installations created with the Fulvio Muzi Art School and the Academy of Fine Arts of L'Aquila.

The grand finale, on January 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM, was the Befana Grand Parade, featuring clowns, dancers, stilt walkers, and music. The edition was organized by the Vivi Calascio Community Cooperative.
