Nasari Living Nativity (Cunsaria)

The third edition (2025-2026)

The third edition of the Nasari Living Nativity was held in the Cunsaria village, in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (ME), with evening openings between December 25, 2025, and January 6, 2026, generally from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

The route featured the characteristic thematic areas of the nativity scene, with animated stations recreating the tavern, the school, the shepherds, the embroiderers, and the women at the loom, leading up to the Nativity stable in the zone of peace and light. There were also tastings of traditional dishes, background music, and live animals.

Organized by the Santa Maria e San Rocco Parish of Nasari with coordination by Tindaro Giovinazzo and Emanuele Munafò and the support of numerous volunteers, the edition attracted hundreds of visitors, with participation higher than in previous years.

• Zone of darkness (leisure and worldly life)
• Zone of crafts and art (tavern, school, shepherds, embroiderers, women at the loom)
• Village zone (daily life of the community)
• Zone of peace and light (stable with the Nativity)

Along the route: tastings of traditional dishes, background music, and animals.
