narraZONE 2025: ten days in the neighborhoods of Palermo

The 2025 edition of narraZONE took place in Palermo from May 8 to 17, enlivening the Kalsa, Sant'Erasmo, Zisa, Noce, and Danisinni districts with free events. The festival kicked off on May 8 in Sant'Erasmo, at the Ecomuseo Mare Memoria Viva, with the narrative walk Kalsamare, followed by the dance performance Come l'acqua che scorre #2 and the narrative circle Il Paradiso è qui.

In the following days, the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa hosted participatory cinema screenings (La forma dell'attesa, Esercizi a sud-est) and performances such as I diavoli della Zisa, Ti cuntu un cuntu, and Vulissi, as well as a team urban game to discover the neighborhoods. In Kalsa and Noce, Fotogrammi dal Balcone, Anti-racist Readings in Piazza Magione, and dedicated recitals came to life. Finally, in Danisinni, street art interventions and the Disobbedienza Civile: tracce di Danilo Dolci route paid homage to the city's civic memory.

All events were free, confirming the festival's commitment to enhancing Palermo's suburbs within the Traiettorie Urbane project.

• May 15 – Danisinni: street art dedicated to Danilo Dolci; Disobbedienza Civile: tracce di Danilo Dolci.
• May 17 – Kalsa: book presentation by Wu Ming 4.
