Edition 2025 — Napoleonic Re-enactment
The 2025 edition featured, on August 8th, an evening dedicated to the anti-Napoleonic uprising of 1799 at Montecuccolo Castle. The Associazione Il Frignano dei Montecuccoli presented a model reconstruction of the Serra di Porto Pyramid, the eleven-meter-high monument inaugurated on August 22nd, 1858, in memory of those events. The conference reconstructed the historical context of the period, with Napoleon Bonaparte's French opposing the Austro-Russian coalition led by General Alexander Suvorov. On this occasion, a new exhibition space dedicated to the memory of these events was inaugurated within the Raimondo Montecuccoli Museum. The summer at the castle also included guided tours in costume and meetings in the "Pages of History Under the Stars" series, with free admission.
