Edition 2025 — Nanni Valentini al MUSMA

In 2025, MUSMA continued its activity as a museum dedicated to contemporary sculpture, preparing the program for its 2026 20th anniversary, for which the "Volto e Luogo" exhibition dedicated to Nanni Valentini represents one of the flagship events.

Towards MUSMA's 20th Anniversary

Throughout 2025, MUSMA – Museum of Contemporary Sculpture continued its intense exhibition and educational activities in Matera, defining the program for 2026, the year of its twentieth anniversary. Among the announced projects is the exhibition "Volto e Luogo" dedicated to Nanni Valentini, which brings the artist's earthy heads and sculpted faces to the heart of the Sassi, in dialogue with the museum's permanent collection. The preparation of this program was part of Matera's broader journey towards the title of Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue.
