Edition 2025 — Nanni Valentini at MUSMA

In 2025, MUSMA continued its activity as a museum dedicated to contemporary sculpture, preparing the program for its 2026 twentieth anniversary, for which the "Face and Place" exhibition dedicated to Nanni Valentini is one of the flagship events.

Towards MUSMA's twentieth anniversary

Throughout 2025, MUSMA – Museum of Contemporary Sculpture continued its intense exhibition and educational activities in Matera, defining the program for 2026, the year of its twentieth anniversary. Among the announced projects is the exhibition "Face and Place" dedicated to Nanni Valentini, which brings the artist's material heads and sculpted faces to the heart of the Sassi, in dialogue with the museum's permanent collection. The preparation of this program was part of Matera's broader journey towards its title of Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue.
