Mysteries in the Castle

In Autumn 2025, the Castle of San Giorgio Piacentino hosted Writers in the Castle, the literary review that preceded and inspired Mysteries in the Castle. The second edition of the all-female review began on October 11 with Sara Gambazza in the Hall of Honour, continuing with events dedicated to women's voices between past and present, including on November 22 the event with Chiara Montani and her Il destino di Sofonisba. Promoted by the Municipal Administration of San Giorgio Piacentino and organized by the Educarte cooperative, which manages the municipal library, the review confirmed the Castle as a place of culture in the Piacenza Val Nure, and paved the way for the 2026 mystery series. Events were free admission.
