Edition 2025 — MUSMA 20 anni

In 2025, MUSMA continued its exhibition activities in the Sassi of Matera, presenting the permanent collection of contemporary sculpture in the caves of Palazzo Pomarici and preparing the program for the 2026 twentieth anniversary.

Throughout 2025, MUSMA continued to welcome visitors from all over the world to the underground halls of Palazzo Pomarici, the only cave museum in the world, showcasing its rich collection of Italian and international contemporary sculpture: sculptures, ceramics, medals, jewelry, drawings, and artist's books. The year's activities supported the preparation of the major program for the twentieth anniversary, which opens in March 2026, coinciding with Matera Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue.
