Edition 2025 — Musikfest Schalders

The 2025 edition of the Musikfest Schalders coincided with a special milestone: the 100th anniversary of the Musikkapelle Schalders. The village band, founded in 1925, celebrated a century of activity with a grand anniversary festival at the Festplatz Schalders on August 15, preceded by a jubilee concert held on April 20, 2025, at the Haus Voitsberg in Varna/Vahrn.

Musikfest Schalders 2025 – 100 years of the band

2025 was a jubilee year for the Musikkapelle Schalders, which celebrated its 100th anniversary. The Ferragosto Musikfest, held on August 15, 2025, at the Festplatz Schalders, took the form of a true anniversary festival, featuring brass music, social gatherings, and South Tyrolean culinary specialties, attracting enthusiasts from well beyond the borders of the Municipality of Varna/Vahrn.

The centenary celebrations were inaugurated on April 20, 2025, with a jubilee concert at the Haus Voitsberg in Varna/Vahrn, under the direction of conductor Fabian Gottardi, which traced a century of musical tradition in the village of Schalders in the heart of the Eisacktal.
