Edition 2025 — Musicalia
Musicalia 2025: the third edition between the Rocca and Ferento
In 2025, Musicalia, the summer festival of the Accademia degli S.Vitati presided over by maestro Federico Amendola, expanded its horizons: nine events from July 1 to August 12, eight in the courtyard of the National Etruscan Museum of Rocca Albornoz in Viterbo and one, in theatrical form, in the evocative setting of the Roman Theater of Ferento, where Mozart's Don Giovanni was performed.
The musical journey traversed opera, classical music, jazz, and film scores: from the instrumental opening "5 x 8ni" to the voices of the young artists of the Oslo Opera Academy in "Opera in the World", from the jazz of "Un baritono in Jazz" with the Marco Guidolotti 4et to the samba of "2 Girls from Ipanema", passing through the Roman song evening "'Na sera pe' Roma" and the grand finale dedicated to cinema classics, from Nino Rota and Henry Mancini to West Side Story. The festival, realized with the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Lazio, the Municipality of Viterbo, and the Fondazione Carivit, confirmed the success of the natural acoustics formula, with admission at 10 euros.
