A Summer of Music on Lake Iseo

The Musical Waves Festival is one of Lombardy's most captivating music events. For an entire summer, from May to September, it brings dozens of concerts to numerous locations between Lake Iseo and Franciacorta, transforming historic palaces, churches, and squares into widespread stages. The artistic direction is entrusted to Claudio Piastra, who curates a high-level program each year.

Among the festival's stops is Sarnico, in the province of Bergamo, where music resonates within the halls of the 18th-century Palazzo La Rocchetta. The scheduled concert features a refined dialogue between classical and jazz music, with ensembles that blend cultured tradition and improvisation, in an intimate and evocative setting overlooking the lake.

The festival spans various genres — classical, opera, symphonic, chamber, early music, and crossover — alternating established performers with young international talents.
