Musical Traditions – A Sound Journey Through Roots and Memory

The 2025 season in Cabella Ligure, in the province of Alessandria, offered a calendar spread between July and August, with events covering culture, nature, music, and traditions in the mountainous heart of Piedmont.

Among the events were the festival Women from here and across the sea dedicated to female emigration, the Fried Gnocco Festival with live music, the gastronomic and musical tour Caruggi in Canto in the historic center, and numerous craft markets. The memory of emigration from Val Borbera, which was also the common thread of the musical evenings, ran through the entire summer program of the village.
