Music and young talents to celebrate Blessed Giuliana of Busto Arsizio
The Musical Festival for Blessed Giuliana is a neighborhood musical review that takes place in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese, dedicated to the figure of Blessed Giuliana, deeply linked to the city's history and devotion. Organized by the Riabitare Association, the festival was created to combine the celebration of a spiritual figure of the territory with the promotion of young musicians.
The protagonists of the festival are the students of the Candiani-Bausch Music High School in Busto Arsizio, who perform alongside more structured ensembles. The review is divided into several evenings, each dedicated to a different musical genre—from vocal music to symphonic, from guitar to wind music—offering the public a varied and rich experience.
The concerts are held in symbolic places of the city and the neighborhood: the Oratory of San Bernardino, the church of San Luigi Beata Giuliana, the ProBusto Hall, and the church of San Giovanni. This itinerant choice enhances the religious and cultural heritage of Busto Arsizio and creates a strong link between music and the community's spaces.
As the organizers emphasize, the festival represents 'a moment of encounter between music, territory, and young talents'. Born just a few editions ago, it has already received great public response, with packed churches, confirming itself as one of the most heartfelt musical initiatives in the Busto Arsizio neighborhoods. Admission is free.
The 3rd edition of the Musical Festival for Blessed Giuliana is held in Busto Arsizio from April 27 to 30, 2026, organized by the Riabitare Association with students from the Candiani-Bausch Music High School. Four evenings, each dedicated to a musical genre and hosted in a different venue, celebrate the figure of Blessed Giuliana. The edition also commemorates the 600th anniversary of her spiritual legacy. Free admission.
Evenings start in the evening (around 8:45 PM). Students from the Bausch Music High School are the protagonists.
The concerts take place in various locations in Busto Arsizio (VA): Oratory of San Bernardino (via Cascina dei Poveri), church of San Luigi Beata Giuliana, ProBusto Hall, and church of San Giovanni.
Busto Arsizio is served by the FS and Ferrovie Nord stations and by the A8 Milan-Varese highway.
Free admission; reservations are recommended for some evenings.
