Edition 2025 — Music Is a Wonderful Thing
The inaugural edition of the Roma Tre Orchestra summer festival enlivened the Garbatella district in Rome from June 19 to August 8, 2025, with sixteen concerts distributed across eight programs. In the courtyard of Palazzo Mazzoni, the former INPS Vittorio Locchi boarding school, the great classical and operatic repertoire met the local public in an intimate and popular atmosphere.
Conductors such as Gustav Kuhn, Marco Boni, Marco Boemi, Luciano Acocella, and Massimiliano Caldi took turns on the podium, while soloists included pianists Maurizio Baglini, Roberto Prosseda, and Costanza Principe, violinist Maria Andreeva, and cellist/conductor Luigi Piovano. The protagonist, as per the project's vocation, was an orchestra of about sixty young performers under 35.
