2025 Music Festival in Pontedera
In 2025, the Music Festival in Pontedera held special significance: the 'Volere è Potere' Philharmonic celebrated 190 years of activity by launching its first international twinning with the Banda Simfònica Roquetes-Nou Barris from Barcelona. The 'Un ponte di note' project culminated in two joint concerts: Saturday, July 5th in Piazza del Duomo and Sunday, July 6th in Piazza della Chiesa del Romito, both at 9:00 PM.
Each evening featured pieces performed by the individual bands as well as shared performances, with a special tribute to the pasodoble 'Amparito Roca' in the year of its centenary. An edition that united band tradition, friendship between cities, and popular celebration in the center of Pontedera, Tuscany.
