Music Festival

The 2025 edition of the Music Festival in Lecce intertwined several initiatives in the historic center of the Salento capital, in the spirit of joy and sharing. On Saturday, June 21st, the day of the summer solstice, the Classica d'Estate & wine series kicked off with the Duo Chiman — Marco Mancini on sax and Camilla Chiga on piano — performing pieces by Franck and Prokofiev, accompanied by a wine tasting from the Apollonio Winery in the quiet of the Garden Hall.

On Sunday, June 22nd, in the evocative church of the Nova, the concert The Joy of Music was held, organized by the AlterAzioni association of Bisceglie in collaboration with the Lecce section of Italia Nostra. The star was the AlterSinfonietta string ensemble, conducted by Maestro Vito Liturri, featuring young violinist Andrea Rizzi as a soloist in works by Tartini and a program ranging from Mozart to Respighi. As per tradition, admission was free until capacity was reached.
