Edition 2025 — Mushroom Hunter Championship

The 2025 edition of the Mushroom Hunter Championship was held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in RoccaNuova di Varsi (Parma). Participants competed in finding 602 synthetic mushrooms hidden in a delimited wooded area, along a flat route accessible to everyone, complete with a shuttle service for those with mobility difficulties.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, RoccaNuova di Varsi hosted a new edition of the Mushroom Hunter Championship. The individual competition involved searching for 602 synthetic mushrooms, carefully reproduced and hidden in a large delimited wooded area. 11 trophies were awarded in the male, female, and children (up to 13 years old) categories, as well as for the largest mushroom and the most beautiful specimen of synthetic Amanita. The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Varsi and organized by the Parish Committee of Roccanuova, had charitable purposes: the proceeds were allocated to the maintenance of the local Sanctuary.
