Museum of Folkloric Imaginary Festival

The 2025 edition was part of a particularly lively season for the Italian Museum of Folkloric Imaginary in Piazza al Serchio. Between May 9 and June 2, the museum proposed the «Amico Museo» cycle, with Sunday guided tours at 16:00 dedicated to figures of the Garfagnana folkloric imaginary — ghosts, spirits, fairies, and witches — enlivened by tales, readings, and the opportunity to experience innovative 3D virtual reality headsets.

Following this program, the June festival celebrated the anniversary of the museum's opening (which took place in June 2019), confirming the formula that weaves together live storytelling, promotion of the oral tradition archive, and involvement of the Garfagnana Lunense community. Admission, as per tradition, remained free.
