Muntagninjazz 2025 in Bugnara

The 19th edition of Muntagninjazz took place from July 29 to August 21, 2025, involving nine municipalities of the Peligna Valley with about 150 artists and 24 concerts across squares, forests, and nature reserves, organized by Muntagninjazz APS with the support of the Abruzzo Region and the Ministry of Culture.

In Bugnara, the stage was held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, with an evening hike towards the Acqua degli Uccelli Refuge. The walk began at 6:00 PM, climbing through the pine forests above the village, followed by dinner at the refuge at 8:30 PM and the concert by the Seven Sins Dixieland Orchestra, a sextet that evokes the atmosphere of early 20th-century New Orleans with a lively dixieland repertoire. The return to Bugnara took place on foot at the end of the evening. The event confirmed the festival's commitment to combining jazz music, hiking, and the promotion of Abruzzo's natural heritage.
