Edition 2025 — Terento Mill Festival

The 2025 edition of the Mühlenfest im Terner Mühlental was held on Sunday, August 3, in the Mühlental of Terento. As per tradition, on the first Sunday of August, the restored water mills along the Terner Bach ground grain before visitors, accompanied by music, Schuhplattler, bread baking, and South Tyrolean farm specialties.

The Terento Mill Festival returned on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the Mühlental, the mill valley of the Province of Bolzano. Along the Terner Bach stream, the restored water mills, some up to 500 years old, turned once again thanks to the power of the water, grinding grain beneath stone millstones before the eyes of visitors.

The day offered traditional music with the Goaslkrocha, Schuhplattler dances, bread baking, and a rich assortment of farm specialties: Tirtlan, Strauben, dumplings, speck, cheeses, and fresh bread. An authentic event for families, serving as the summer highlight of the 's Terner Schmelzpfandl series.
