.MOV 2025 — the third edition

In 2025, .MOV shifted its focus to the end of summer: from September 17 to 24, the Villa Lais amphitheatre, in Rome's Municipio VII, once again became an arena of visions, bodies, and languages open to the public for free.

The selection brought together thirty-six films from twenty-four countries, including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Korea, Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Italy. The edition introduced two new features: .MOV WEB, a virtual space inaugurated on September 12 with an online preview, and a digital session on September 21 dedicated to the announcement of the audience award.

On September 17 and 18, the professional seminar Parallel Lines was held, dedicated to the techniques and challenges of contemporary screendance. The .MOV KIDS activities, on September 19 and 24, brought screenings and a storyboard workshop to the Blue Room Bookstore and the Collina della Pace Library.
