Mountain Festival

The 2025 edition of the Mountain Festival, the 21st, animated the Prati del San Vicino (San Vicino Meadows) on July 5th and 6th. Starting from Saturday afternoon, numerous campers from various Italian regions arrived, and in the evening, guests dined on polenta in the presence of the mayor of Matelica, Denis Cingolani.

Sunday opened with a concert by the P. Veschi band of Matelica, conducted by Maestro Gabriele Bartoloni, followed by the awarding of the Nello Mosciatti and Alfredo Panichelli prizes (in their 23rd edition), the mass celebrated by Don Bruno, and a procession in honor of the Madonna del Grappa. The festival concluded with the alpine meal for over a hundred participants, attended by the regional president of the Alpini, Sergio Mercuri, and administrators from neighboring municipalities.
