Mountain Festival 2025 - 4th Edition

The fourth edition of the Mountain Festival brought Fara San Martino to life from July 25th to 27th, 2025. Friday saw the inauguration in Piazza Municipio with the Obiettivo Majella exhibition, the seminar on hiking trails, the 7th Urban Trail Memorial Costantino Cipollone, and an evening concert by the CAI L'Aquila Alpine Choir in the Chiesa del Suffragio.

Saturday featured the 6th Maiella in Sella, visits to the Cavallone Caves, guided walks to the Abbey and the springs, inclusive mountain activities with joelette wheelchairs, and the opening of the climbing wall, followed by the Farà Music evening. Sunday was the sporting highlight with the 4th Monte Amaro Extreme (29.5 km, +2400 m), live cliff climbing, a matinee by the Atessa Band, and the awards ceremony, including the Terre Alte Prize. The event, with free admission, was promoted by the Municipality of Fara San Martino with the Pro Loco, CAI, and the Majella Cooperative.
