Edition 2025 — Mountain Festival

In 2025, the Mountain Festival once again brought faithful, hikers, and families to the plateau of the Santa Maria Maddalena church in the Monti Sibillini. On the day dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene, the communities of the municipalities meeting around the Romanesque chapel renewed the tradition of processions, open-air mass, and popular festival at altitude.

The 2025 edition of the Mountain Festival took place around July 22nd at the church of Santa Maria Maddalena, at 1112 meters in the Monti Sibillini National Park, above Bolognola (MC). As every year since 2007, the ancient Romanesque church once again became the heart of the mountain for a day.

The day confirmed its traditional format: processions ascended from the nearby villages, mass was celebrated outdoors in the high-altitude meadows, and convivial and folkloric moments attracted a growing audience. An event that combines devotion, nature, and the identity of the Sibillini communities.
