Motta Camastra Walnut Festival

The 2025 Edition

The 21st Walnut Festival of Motta Camastra was held over the weekends of September 27-28 and October 4-5, 2025. Each day began at 9:30 AM with the opening of the festival stalls and Motta in Vetrina, followed at 10:00 AM by roving performances with traditional Sicilian instruments through the streets of the historic center.

The first Saturday offered a significant cultural program: a seminar on the Motta walnut covering nutraceutical aspects, tradition, and flavors, the Teatro del Gusto 2025 workshop, and a cooking show by starred chef Francesco Patti of the Coria restaurant, coordinated by the Le Soste di Ulisse association, followed in the evening in Piazza Croce by tastings and a comedy show by I Badaboom.

The closing Sunday featured the parade and concert of the Attanasio Fastuca town brass band, with the event closing at midnight. For all four days, a free shuttle bus was active from the sports field to the town center.
