Edition 2025 — Motta Camastra Carnival

In 2025, the Motta Camastra Carnival once again brought days of celebration to Motta Camastra, featuring parades of allegorical floats, traditional masks, music, and performances in the village's historic center. The event, with free admission and promoted by the Municipality, represented a moment of joy and participation for the entire community, amidst the streets and squares overlooking the Alcantara Gorges.

The 2025 edition of the Motta Camastra Carnival confirmed the vitality of a deeply felt tradition in Motta Camastra, in the Alcantara Valley, province of Messina. On that occasion, the alleys and squares of the village were filled with allegorical floats, masks, confetti, music, and performances, with a program designed to involve both adults and children.

The festival, with free admission and organized by the Municipality of Motta Camastra, combined the joy of the Sicilian popular carnival with the rural roots of the territory, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the village during one of its most colorful and well-attended events.
