Edition 2025 — Mostra della Capra Orobica
The 2025 edition, the thirty-fourth, of the Mostra Regionale della Capra Orobica was held in Casargo on November 15 and 16. The official opening was set for Saturday at 10:00 AM, while on Sunday morning, the jury deliberations took place, with the proclamation of the famous 2025 Best Male Goat Winner at noon and the official awards ceremony at 2:30 PM.
The weekend featured parades and exhibitions of goats and male goats, moments dedicated to mountain agriculture, educational farms and workshops for children, a fair of typical products and crafts, as well as entertainment with folk music, songs, accordions, and shows, enriched by the demonstration of chestnut drying, in the heart of Alta Valsassina.
