Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica – Biennale Cinema

The 2025 edition of the Venice Film Festival brought international cinema back to the Lido, featuring world premieres, screenings, and director talks at the Palazzo del Cinema. The red carpet attracted directors, actors, and enthusiasts from around the globe for an edition that concluded with the awarding of the Golden Lion for best film and other official prizes. The event, organized by La Biennale di Venezia (VE), reaffirmed its role as the opener of the international film awards season.

The 2025 edition followed the established structure: main competition, Orizzonti, Venezia Classici, Venice Immersive, and Biennale College Cinema sections, with world premieres at the Palazzo del Cinema and the Golden Lion award ceremony on the closing night.
