Edition 2025 — Festa del Fungo di Gattorna
The 2025 edition, the 39th, took place on October 11-12 in Gattorna, confirming the success of one of the most beloved autumn festivals in Val Fontanabuona. The stalls of the Gattorna Bassa Neighbourhood Festival Committee offered polenta with mushroom sauce, cheese focaccia, fried mushrooms, and sweet chestnut fritters.
As tradition dictates, there was also the free distribution of mushrooms and ballotte, while the evenings were enlivened by dance orchestras. The festival once again proved to be a must-attend event for lovers of the forest flavours of the Genoa hinterland.
