The 2025 edition of the Most Holy Crucifix festival in Canicattì took place over the weekend of May 3-4 in the Borgalino district. The neighborhood was colored by the Flower Festival and the Cross Parade created by students of the Crispi school, in a blend of faith and popular creativity.
The traditional Egg and Local Products Festival enlivened the celebration with an evening dedicated to fun, tastings, and the discovery of traditions. On stage, the children's folk group from the Verga Comprehensive Institute, the majorettes from the Gangitano Comprehensive Institute, and animation shows provided an evening of joy that involved the entire community of the district and the province of Agrigento.
