2025 Edition — the fourth
In May 2025, the Moscerine Film Festival celebrated its fourth edition in Rome, confirming its status as the first and only Italian film festival dedicated to children aged 0 to 12. The first days, hosted between the Nuovo Cinema Aquila and the Cinema Broadway, were reserved for school workshops and activities for the little ones, including "Cinema in the Cradle" designed for the 0-3 age group.
The following days featured the screening of the competing short films and the award ceremonies. The jury, including names like Mussi Bollini, Neri Marcorè, and Maria Fares, awarded the main prizes: Best Short Film went ex-aequo to Luna and I sognatori, while Best Documentary was awarded to La partita. An edition that reaffirmed the festival's vocation: giving voice and space to the cinematic perspective of the youngest in the heart of Rome.
