Monticulum Anno Domini 1114

The VII edition of Monticulum Anno Domini 1114 was held on June 7 and 8, 2025, at the Parco dell'Enza in Montecchio Emilia (Reggio Emilia).

Saturday evening saw the opening of the medieval village with encampments, a historical market, and a tavern, followed by the historical pageant, the re-enactment of the 1114 meeting, medieval dances, shows by jesters and musicians, and the grand finale with fire shows. Sunday featured the opening of the tavern, musical performances, the flag wavers' exhibition, and the medieval treasure hunt for children, culminating in a new pageant and the final re-enactment. Admission to the festival was free, while the castle visit cost €2 (or €4 with a guided tour).
