Edition 2025 — Fried Chicken and Fava Bean Festival
In 2025, the Fried Chicken and Fava Bean Festival once again enlivened the village of Montiano during the May 1st period, confirming the spring appointment with Maremma cuisine. Fried chicken and fava beans with cheese, along with homemade first courses and grilled meats, attracted visitors from all over the Maremma for days of conviviality in the heart of the Grosseto province.
The 2025 edition of the Fried Chicken and Fava Bean Festival took place in Montiano, a hamlet of Magliano in Toscana (GR), around the May 1st holiday, following the established tradition that makes this festival the opening of the Maremma festival season.
On that occasion as well, the stands, managed by local volunteers, offered the festival's typical menu, with fried chicken and fava beans with cheese taking center stage, in a popular festive atmosphere with free admission.
