Edition 2025 — Torchlight Rosary

Throughout 2025, the Sanctuary of Caravaggio continued to celebrate the Torchlight Rosary on the 26th of each month, a procession with torches under the basilica's arcades in memory of the Apparition of May 26, 1432, following the tradition of great Marian sanctuaries.

Throughout 2025, the Torchlight Rosary continued to punctuate the devotional life of the Sanctuary of Caravaggio on a monthly basis. Every 26th of the month, at 9:00 PM, the faithful gathered for the procession with torches under the basilica's arcades, reciting the Rosary while walking in memory of the Virgin's apparition. An intimate and evocative rite, which follows the tradition of great Marian sanctuaries and keeps alive, month after month, the memory of the foundational event of 1432.
