The 2025 edition of the Monteverdi Festival brought baroque operas, sacred music concerts, and madrigals to Cremona's historic venues, confirming the event as one of Europe's leading festivals dedicated to Claudio Monteverdi and 17th-century repertoire.

The 2025 edition of the Monteverdi Festival animated Cremona with its usual blend of operas, sacred music, and madrigals presented in the courtyards and churches of the historic center. The Teatro Ponchielli hosted major operatic productions, while the Church of Sant'Agostino and other symbolic locations featured concerts of early music.
