Edition 2025 — Montestella Festival

The 2025 edition of the Montestella Festival took place in Omignano Paese from Friday, August 15th, to Sunday, August 17th, 2025, featuring three evenings of Cilento gastronomy organized by the Pro Loco. The star was the handmade 'fusillo omignanese' served with 'braciola', alongside rustic appetizers, 'soffritto', grilled sausage, and rustic 'zeppole'. Each evening featured a folk music concert: Sunarìa, Daniele Botticchio, and TeMèia performed on stage. Free admission.

Montestella Festival 2025

From August 15th to 17th, 2025, Omignano Paese, in the Cilento region of Salerno province, hosted three evenings of the Montestella Festival, organized by the Pro Loco on the slopes of Monte Stella. Food stalls in the village center, outdoor tables, and free admission without reservation, as per tradition.

On the menu was the fusillo omignanese with 'braciola', fresh pasta hand-rolled by local women, along with rustic appetizers, Cilento 'soffritto', grilled sausage, rustic zeppole with anchovies or zucchini flowers, traditional desserts, and local wines.

The soundtrack for the three evenings was provided by folk music: Sunarìa on August 15th, Daniele Botticchio on August 16th, and TeMèia on August 17th, with the square turning into a dance floor every night after dinner.

Programme

Friday, August 15th, 2025: opening of food stalls and concert by Sunarìa. Saturday, August 16th, 2025: food stalls and evening with Daniele Botticchio. Sunday, August 17th, 2025: food stalls and closing night with TeMèia.
