Edition 2025 — Wine Festival
The 2025 edition
The 65th Montefiascone Wine Festival was held from August 1st to 14th, 2025, under the patronage of the Lazio Region, the Province of Viterbo, and the Municipality of Montefiascone. The opening, on Friday, August 1st, at 9 PM in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, was entrusted to Hotel Supramonte, a Fabrizio De André tribute band, in an acoustic version with free admission.
In the following evenings, historical costume pageants, the barrel race, theatrical performances, dance and visual arts exhibitions alternated, alongside guided tastings of Est! Est!! Est!!! curated by industry experts. Among the most popular events were the «Wine & Jazz» evening on August 10th at the Rocca dei Papi and the new cultural section «Panorami», dedicated to literary meetings. Local wineries manned the stalls for the duration of the event, confirming the festival as the main food and wine showcase of the Alta Tuscia.
