Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival

The Montecchio Vesponi Chestnut Festival took place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October 2025 at the sports center of the Castiglion Fiorentino hamlet. Two days of festivities with chestnuts, baldino, fried ciacce, and many activities for families, organized by CAS Montecchio Vesponi APS.

The 2025 edition of the Chestnut Festival in Montecchio Vesponi enlivened the Castiglion Fiorentino hamlet on October 18 and 19, 2025. Saturday evening was dedicated to a convivial dinner featuring Tuscan appetizers, penne with sausage and mushrooms, sliced beef with pepper, thrushes, salad, and chestnuts.

Sunday was the main day, featuring the distribution of chestnuts, baldino, and fried ciacce, go-kart rentals, mini-moto exhibitions, games and bouncy castles for children, an exhibition-market, and a folklore event with donkeys and music. A genuine village festival that confirmed the strong bond of the Montecchio Vesponi community with its autumn traditions.
