Montecchio Emilia Photography Festival

The 40th edition of the Montecchio Emilia Photography Festival, in the province of Reggio Emilia, was held from December 7, 2024, to January 12, 2025. The event, organized by the Montecchio CineFotoClub Association in collaboration with the Municipality and the Italian Federation of Photographic Associations, presented solo exhibitions by Italian and international authors including Omar Essam, Antonella Monzoni, and Sara Cattaneo, with themes ranging from social documentation to artistic research. Alongside the exhibitions in the Este Castle, the collective exhibition "Sguardi" was displayed at the former Municipal Slaughterhouse. Admission was free.
