Edition 2025 — Return to the Middle Ages

The 2025 edition of "Montecarlo - Return to the Middle Ages" took place on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, 2025, in the historic center of the village, in the province of Lucca. As per tradition, the Gruppo Storico Montecarlese brought alleys and squares to life with medieval games, archery, soldiers, archers, ladies, nobles, peasants, and the choreography of the Drum Corps, in a free weekend festival open to everyone.

During the weekend of May 24 and 25, 2025, the village of Montecarlo (Lucca) returned to the Middle Ages with the customary historical re-enactment by the Gruppo Storico Montecarlese. The historic center hosted medieval games and archery, with registration also open for the nutcracker competition, alongside the Drum Corps processions and scenes of daily life animated by ladies, nobles, peasants, archers, and soldiers. Activities were concentrated from Saturday afternoon until Sunday evening, with free admission.
