Edition 2025 — Terminillo Cycling Leonessa
2025 Edition: The Debut
The inaugural edition of the Monte Terminillo Cycling - Leonessa City Granfondo took place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in the municipality of Leonessa, in the province of Rieti, gathering over 400 cyclists at the start.
The two timed races, of 141 and 83 kilometers, crossed a large part of the Rieti territory before tackling the Sella di Leonessa, the pass at 1,901 meters that selected the group. The men's races were decided in a sprint: victory for Paolo Ciavatta (Go Fast) on the long route in 4h15'35" and for Francesco Pirro on the short route. Among the women, Loretta Giudici (Il Biciclo New Limits) won in 4h52'09" with a lead of over forty minutes, alongside Federica Cancellieri.
The event, the sixth stage of the 2025 Pedalatium circuit, included a race pack with technical apparel, supplements, and a finisher's medal, with fees of 43 euros for competitive races and 35 euros for the cycle-touring event.
