Monte Terminillo Cycling 2025: the first edition

The Monte Terminillo Cycling - Città di Leonessa granfondo debuted on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Leonessa, in the province of Rieti, as the sixth stage of the Pedalatium road circuit. The two competitive routes, of 141 and 83 kilometers, included the historic climb to the Sella di Leonessa at 1,901 meters and passed through Rieti, Cantalice, Poggio Bustone, and Morro Reatino, with the long route continuing towards Posta, Bacugno, Cittareale, and Selva Rotonda.

In the men's long race, victory went to Paolo Ciavatta (Go Fast) with a time of 4h15'35". The participation success of the first edition encouraged the organizers to confirm the event for 2026.
