Edition 2025 — Monte Rosa SkyMarathon

The seventh edition of the Monte Rosa SkyMarathon took place in Alagna Valsesia on June 14, 2025, during a weekend marked by high temperatures. The flagship event, the 35 km loop with 7,000 m of elevation gain to Capanna Margherita (4,554 m), was won by the pair William Boffelli and Roberto De Lorenzi in 4h38'09", marking the sixth victory for the Bergamo-born champion. The edition featured four skyrunning races, including the new SkySummit.

2025 Edition

The seventh edition of the Monte Rosa SkyMarathon was held in Alagna Valsesia, Piedmont, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the heart of a weekend marked by unusually high temperatures at high altitude.

In the flagship event, the 35 km pairs loop with 7,000 m of total elevation gain up to Capanna Margherita (4,554 m), victory went to William Boffelli and Roberto De Lorenzi, who finished in 4h38'09": for Boffelli, from Bergamo, this was his sixth win in the competition. The program also included the SkySummit, the individual ascent, and the double vertical kilometer, confirming Alagna as the capital of high altitude and the historic cradle of skyrunning.
