2025 New Year's Eve Torchlight Descent at Monte Nock

For December 31, 2025, the community of Ruffrè-Mendola, in the Val di Non, once again renewed the traditional New Year's Eve Torchlight Descent on the slopes of Monte Nock. As evening fell, athletes from the Unione Sportiva Ruffrè Mendola, accompanied by ski instructors and coaches, skied down the black run with lit torches, creating the evocative luminous trail that defines the final night of the year.

The descent, which was also open to other skiers, concluded at the foot of the slope, where mulled wine and hot tea were distributed free of charge around the bonfire, thanks to the Alpini Group and the collaboration of the Fire Brigade. It was a convivial and free moment to bid farewell to the passing year together before the midnight celebrations in Trentino.
