Edition 2025 — Monte Mario Jazz Festival
Three evenings of music, art, and memory
The 2025 edition confirmed the formula that has made the festival recognizable: free open-air concerts in the Parco di Santa Maria della Pietà, alternating with book presentations, in-depth meetings on the figure of Massimo Urbani, and moments dedicated to young musicians.
The lineup featured the Michele Frascà Quintet and the Maurizio Urbani Quintet on the first night, the piano-voice duo Martha Deribe and Simone Maggio and the Pasquale Innarella Quartet on the second, while the final day featured the Cesare Panizzi Trio and the Andrea Zanchi Quartet. There was no shortage of cross-genre contamination, with performances by actors, comedic interludes, and an exhibition space dedicated to visual arts.
In 2025, access remained free and open for all events, in line with the popular vocation that the Rome XIV Municipality intended for the festival.
