Edition 2025 — Monte Faito Chestnut Festival
The 2025 edition
The 2025 Monte Faito PGI Chestnut Festival was held in Pimonte, in the Monti Lattari in the province of Naples, on Sunday October 19, with a repeat on Sunday October 26, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Agriturismo La Quiete.
The program, designed for families, nature enthusiasts, and food lovers, featured chestnut picking in the grove, a tasting menu with local products, guided woodland hikes, a pumpkin patch where children could choose and carve their own pumpkins, archery, and entertainment by the Giovanni Paolo II Association.
The edition was part of the La Dispensa dei Monti Lattari project, which promotes the food, wine, landscape, and cultural excellence of eight municipalities in Campania. In addition to the festival, the stated goal was to support the recognition process for the Protected Geographical Indication for the Monte Faito chestnut, considered by administrators as an economic, cultural, and tourism opportunity for the entire territory.
