Monte Camicia Vertical 2025
The fourth edition of the Monte Camicia Vertical took place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Castel del Monte, organized by the Polisportiva Castel del Monte as part of the Abruzzo Vertical Cup - Trofeo La Sportiva. Mass start from Fonte Vetica at 9:30 AM, with registration open from 8:30 AM, on the classic vertical kilometer route toward the summit of Monte Camicia.
In the men's category, victory went to Carlo Colaianni (Live Your Mountain) with a time of 41'55", ahead of Carlo Silvagni (41'56") and Danilo Iacobone (46'30"). Among the women, Chiara Benedetti (Atletica Abruzzo L'Aquila) succeeded with a time of 51'56", followed by Leda Argentini (54'20") and Patrizia Giannini (56'06"). The awards ceremony was held in the afternoon in the village of Castel del Monte.
