Edition 2025 — Montanara Festival

The third edition of the Montanara Festival was held in Pofi on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The Gruppo Folklore Pofano set up the dining area at the Palatenda Comunale on Via San Giorgio, also involving Piazza Vittorio Emanuele: montanare fried to order, music, dancing, and great popular participation in two free-entry evenings.

In 2025, the festival reached its third edition, confirming its early June schedule: Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The heart of the event was the Palatenda Comunale on Via San Giorgio, with the town center and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele involved in the festivities.

In that edition too, the star was the montanara — fried pizza topped with tomato sauce, cheese, and basil — served hot by the volunteers of the Gruppo Folklore Pofano. The two evenings were accompanied by music, dancing, and social moments that brought together residents and visitors from the towns of Ciociaria.

The success of the 2025 edition encouraged the organizers to repeat the event the following year, though moving it to early May.
