Edition 2025 — Farinata Festival

In 2025, the Farinata Festival once again brought Montaldo Bormida to life with three evenings in Piazza Nuova Europa. The Nuova Pro Loco served traditional wood-fired chickpea farinata, along with arrosticini and Monferrato specialties, accompanied by live music, dancing, and the customary fireworks. A village festival that attracts visitors from the Ovadese area and the province of Alessandria every year.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Montaldo Bormida Farinata Festival took place in June in Piazza Nuova Europa, confirming the festival's successful formula: three evenings with chickpea farinata as the main dish, food stands managed by the Nuova Pro Loco, and live music keeping the square dancing until late.

As per tradition, Saturday night featured the fireworks display that illuminated the sky over the Monferrato Ovadese village. An event that continues to be one of the most cherished gastronomic appointments in the province of Alessandria.
