Edition 2025 — Wine Festival
The 64th edition of the UNESCO Monferrato Wine Festival was held in Casale Monferrato over the weekends of September 19-21 and 26-28, 2025, at the Mercato Pavia in Piazza Castello. The official inauguration, with the opening ceremony in the presence of authorities, took place at 6:00 PM on September 19.
Opening hours included dinner on Friday (6:00 PM - 12:00 AM), lunch and dinner on Saturday (10:00 AM - 12:00 AM) and Sunday (10:00 AM - 11:00 PM). Tastings were available using the reusable eco-friendly glass (5 euros), with package options (glass plus 4 tastings for 15 euros) or single tastings for 3 euros. Among the novelties was the debut of "Barbeera," an amber beer flavored with Barbera.
The historic numbers were confirmed: 31 Pro Loco, 30 wine producers, and 6,000 seats. Events included the funfair in Piazza Castello, the Tipico & Shopping markets and the Regional Piedmontese Market, musical evenings, and the fireworks display from the castle ramparts on Saturday, September 20, at 11:30 PM.
